No. A difference tells you what to look into. Pay Checker compares the figures in your documents. It can't see how a platform calculated your pay or decide which record is right.
We use OpenAI to read the dates, amounts and hours in each document you upload. The original file is stored temporarily and deleted automatically through completion and cleanup. The figures are saved to your history. Deleting an import removes its figures and recalculates your results.
No, the extension is optional. Pay Checker compares your pay from the documents you upload. To compare hours and tasks as well, it needs a record of your own time, which the extension keeps for you.
